University Access Portals
First Time Login & Password Setup
This one-time process activates your university accounts and sets the password for both your Outlook Mail and the MY.AMRITA Portal.
- Go to the Microsoft Login page: https://login.microsoftonline.com/
- Use the following as your Username:
studentregisterno@my.students.amrita.edu example:my.ac.p2mca23131@my.students.amrita.edu - Enter the temporary password received from ICTS.
- You will be immediately prompted to change the default password. Choose a strong, new password.
- After updating the password, you can access all services (Outlook Mail and MY.AMRITA Portal) using the same username and the new password.
MY.AMRITA Portal
The MY.AMRITA (my.amrita.edu) portal is the official student and academic management platform of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. It manages academic, administrative, and examination-related activities.
Key Features for Students:
- Profile & Academic Records: View and update personal and academic details such as roll number, program, and specialization.
- Fee Payments: Check fee details, receipts, pending dues, and make secure online payments.

Regular Outlook Mail Access
After setting your new password (see the First Time Login steps above), you can access your university email via web browser or desktop client.

AUMS (Academic Management)
AUMS is another university management system used for certain academic functions.
Login Steps:
- Go to the AUMS login page: aums.amrita.edu
- Enter your AUMS Username (usually your registration number or student ID).
- Enter your AUMS Password.
- Click the "Login" button.
Troubleshooting:
- If you forget your password, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page.
- For login issues or account activation, contact the AUMS support desk or your department's academic coordinator.
- Ensure you are using the latest version of your web browser.
